I was raised Catholic, and like a lot of Catholics, I'm now agnostic. I read the Bible now and then. If I wasn't nervous about joining a new church, I'd probably still be going to Mass. I go to Mass with my parents when I'm back home and if I still lived in my home town I'd probably still go. I wasn't raised super conservative or fundie so I don't have the trauma to keep me away

I think its scary for a lot of people to be presented with contradictions especially when they believe the Bible so literally. As I got older, that way of thinking made so much more sense. God is an eternal being. God could not experience time in the same way humans do, it would not make sense for God, who has infinite time to do whatever He likes, to make all of creation in 7 Earth days.

I can't help but ignore the fact that you're picking Milena apart? How is that godly or righteous of you? Something that creates just as much bondage as being vain is constantly feeling like your “being too vain” and not even allowing yourself to care for your temple. One could argue using skin cream is just taking good care of the body God gave you. If your obsessed that’s the vain and what could enter into sin but if you just have a skin care routine to make you feel good, shave because you feel good, do anything to make you feel “good” I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. Milena is concerning me because I was part of a church one time that….. the culture there was toxic. Everyone was I believe ultimately coming from a Godly place but it was quickly overrun by desire to fit in, to do what everyone else in church was doing etc it quickly replaced a deep relationship with God with legalism and just fitting in….. I resent it so much. I spent probably 8 or 10 years there and I still can be thankful for many things and challenges to my relationship with God from that time but ultimately it lead me down a path after I left to floundering for a time having a hard time getting connected with another church for lack of resources in my town which lead to stop going at all for a bit to then getting involved and literally finding out I have some sort of religious PTSD because even at my new church I am having so much trouble connecting with ppl because as soon s I see the slightest sign that they don’t seem sincere or like they are doing something just to look a certain way to the others in the room I freak out… it’s been probably 10 years since I’ve been to that church that caused this but I still struggle. I see some of this in milena. She seems like she has a great heart for the Lord I really believe she does but with all of her intense changes lately and in another video she mentioned her church was young, it makes me wonder did they switch church’s is that what brought these changes and is this church after Gods heart or legalism…. Some of her decisions seem sort of cult-ish to me. For example The “ modesty” and dresses… I’m not sure if that’s all she wears or not and modesty is key but you don’t have to just wear flowy dresses all the time. I’m hoping I’m wrong and that this is just what God has spoken to her heart and it may in fact be but the way she talks just seems like she’s being a bit…..over saturated? Maybe it’s me because of my fallen place but I hope she’s this way because of her relationship with God and not because she’s being influenced by others instead.

I'm an Episcopalian so we have communion every week and there is a lot more liturgy and responses leading up to it than in a lot of other Protestant churches, and I'd still say maybe 20-30 minutes tops? I'm finding myself wondering where the one lady is even getting the materials for Communion to be able to take it twice a day. From my understanding the only church that offers Communion/Eucharist daily is the Catholic Church, and I think they still only have Masses once a day on weekdays? (But I could be wrong since I've not been Catholic.) Her being Catholic would fit with her implying it is the actual body and blood of Jesus, as that is more of a Catholic belief, but a lot of the other language and beliefs she shares don't feel Catholic to me from my exposure to Catholicism. The rest of it feels Pentecostal/charismatic with the emphasis on spiritual warfare, though there was a Catholic charismatic movement at one point. And I can't think of any church I have visited that portrays Communion as a spiritual weapon, and I have visited quite a few different types of churches. There's been a few times I have voluntarily sat out of Communion if I felt guilty about something or just felt I was not in a good headspace (I guess what the one lady calls a "heart posture"). But I don't remember ever feeling scared. However, the first time I was able to take Communion again at a church post-COVID I almost cried from feeling overwhelmed, as I realized it had been two years since I had last Communion!

Honestly, if Paul didn’t have such a fragile ego and a complete lack of self awareness, their content would make for SUPER successful ragebait. It would be awful for their relationship, but they would make a lot of money. It feels like they’re desperately trying to emulate what the Shaytards were in like, 2010-2011, but it doesn’t hit the same because 1) child exploitation doesn’t fly in 2024 like it did back in the day 2) despite Shay’s many flaws, he was a creative person who used vlogging as a way for his audience to parasocially join him on his journey to accomplish various personal and professional goals. No offense to Paul, but his pickleball arc just isn’t as personally investing as watching Shay go from extreme financial hardship to building a multimillion dollar media company, or watching Shay go from being unable to jog for more than 20 seconds to running marathons. Honestly if Paul wanted a redemption arc, he could vlog his journey to be a better husband and better father! He could film himself learning to take more responsibility around the house, planning thoughtful gifts for Morgan (elaborate breakfasts, cute scavenger hunt of mini love notes, sending Morgan out for a spa day while he spends the whole day in charge of the baby), talking to his dad about fatherhood, etc. This would require humility, empathy, creativity, honesty, and introspection-all of which he severely lacks.
